Knowledgeable speakers continues to deliver thought provoking presentations through the online platform of Zoom. Members will be able to ask questions at the end of the lecture. Some speakers will present in house, some will present through Zoom.
  • September 8th. "The History of Cleanliness". Dr. Peter Ward, Professor Emeritus, History, UBC. He will talk about his book titled "The Clean Body: A Modern History", published late 2019. Dr. Peter Ward, the presenter and Allan Strain, the convenor of the Tuesday Lecture Series will be presenting in House and the lecture will be zoomed out from the Halpern Room.

  • November 10th. "Quitler? - Yes! Artist? - Yes!" Judy Villett, Member, 100 Braid Street Studios. 
  • November 17th. "A Survivor's Experience of 'Mild' Covid 19". Elaine Carty, Professor Emeritus, UBC Nursing and Midwifery.  
  • November 24th. "Doing Business on the Internet and Succeeding." Robert Dewey, Robert Dewey Design Consultants.
  • December 1st. "The Psychology of Pandemics". Steven Taylor, Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, UBC.
  • December 8th. "On Bears and Coyotes living in or near populated areas". Luci Cadman, Education Coordinator, North Shore Black Bear Society.
