About this event
Join us for a full program that includes guest speaker Robert Mackay. Robert’s historical novels have won international prizes. Soldier of the Horse is based on his father’s time in the Canadian cavalry in World War One. Terror on the Alert, set during the Cuban Missile Crisis, is based on Robert’s own service in British and Canadian submarines during the Cold War. Robert is active in the Naval Officers Association of BC, a past president of the Canadian Authors Association – Metro Vancouver, and a member of CAA's national board of directors.
