Gardeners nurture their interest in plants/gardens in a variety of ways. Whether it's tending to our small garden near the workshop, enjoying outings to gardens and nurseries, or getting hands-on with preparations for our three annual sales, there's always something budding in our group. We also make time for learning, with engaging talks from guest speakers. Lastly, we cherish our social times, such as Happy Hour at the beach or our festive Christmas lunch. Our meetings are tailored to our activities, such as planning for upcoming Sales. With a flexible approach, Gardeners can join in on the activities that suit them. To join or for more information, contact Susan Lamb at bhsgardeners@gmail.com.
To Our Members
- Recent Activities:
- Happy Hour at the beach – what could be better? We gathered at Jericho Beach on a beautiful summer day (August 7). No digging, no planting…it was time to enjoy a glass of wine, some tasty snacks and visiting with our fellow Gardeners. This may well become and annual event, the perfect celebration after the Summer Fair Plant Sale.
- Speaking of the Plant Sale, it was a resounding success with almost every plant (over 300), container and garden item sold. Congratulations to Jan B. and her team for a wonderful event.
