National Day of Truth & Reconciliation Commemoration

About this event

Join fellow Brock House members for a meaningful Truth and Reconciliation event featuring guest speaker Aaron Williams, who will share insights on the “History of the Squamish People on the West Coast.”

Light refreshments will be served.

This gathering offers an opportunity to come together, learn, reflect, and listen to the stories and experiences of Indigenous peoples and communities connected to Brock House.

Aaron Williams, is a barer of Squamish oral history. He has dedicated the last 14 years to travelling throughout British Columbia’s Coast Salish Lands learning and training exclusively with neighbouring communities elder speakers, how to be a speaker in our Long House Society and within our Salishan Communities.
