Pride Month: Movie & Discussion - C.R.A.Z.Y.
About this event
Convened by Trevor Davis
Celebrate Pride Month at Brock House with a special series of Movies & Discussions hosted by Queer Aging BC (formerly Dignity Seniors Society). Each session features a thoughtfully selected film followed by a facilitated discussion, offering an opportunity to reflect, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversation.
On June 23, our first session, we will be watching the movie C.R.A.Z.Y. — a 2005 Canadian coming-of-age drama following a young man’s struggle for identity and acceptance in 1960s to 1980s in Quebec.
About Trevor: Identified as a gay man (he/him) in his 50s, he has been a Vancouver resident since 1990. He is a strong advocate for active aging, volunteerism, and community engagement. As Community Engagement Coordinator with Queer Aging BC, he works with partners across the province to support culturally appropriate services for older adults. Known for his inclusive and strengths-based approach, he enjoys building connections and fostering healthy, engaged communities.
