Introduction to Zhineng Qigong
About this event
Instructor: Anglela Wong
Explore the gentle practice of Zhineng Qigong through simple flowing movements, mindful breathing, and focused attention. Participants will be introduced to first-level movements of the Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down method, designed to support relaxation, balance, flexibility, and a sense of well-being.
The movements are easy to learn, low-impact, and suitable for older adults of all fitness levels. No previous experience is required.
Angela, a Brock House member, has practiced Zhineng Qigong since the 1990s and led a group of approximately 20 participants at the Kensington Community Centre for more than 10 years. She is passionate about sharing this practice and its many physical and mental health benefits with others.
