About this event

Have you ever wondered what goes into making a news broadcast? Or how journalists gather and produce news stories on a daily basis? This exclusive tour will take you through the state-of-the-art integrated news room, home of CBC News in BC, The National and CBC Radio One in Vancouver. Get up close and personal in the TV control rooms, news sets and radio booths. The tour is of the facilities only; interactions with journalists are not part of the tour.

You are advised to not bring bags. If necessary, only small bags are accepted.


The tour is free, but registration is required by March 10.

Location: 700 Hamilton Street, at Georgia St., across from the central library. V6B 0L9


Meet Patricia McCuaig in the CBC Atrium 15 minutes before your tour.


Transportation:

CBC is located in the centre of Vancouver. Public transportation is recommended. There is street parking and pay lots at the Central Library and the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
