Have you ever noticed that wherever you look, the darker the shadows, the brighter the light? Sketching is a wonderful way to calm the mind and see the world differently. And this workshop starts at the very beginning! Join award-winning artist and author Vicky Earle to explore materials and techniques of drawing. We will focus on how to sketch accurately; see light, shadows, and textures; compose artwork; and render sketches into finished three-dimensional designs. No previous art experience is needed. If you can make a mark on a piece of paper, you can learn how to sketch!

Course will be open to non-members once members have a chance to register in advance based on availability.

Cancellation Policy:
Please read the Brock House Society refund policy prior to registering for activities (courses, events, tours) that have a fee.
- There is a $10 processing fee for ALL cancellations.
- To ensure that classes and events can go ahead as planned, members must cancel a class or event no later than 3 days prior to the start/event date to be eligible for refunds. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- To be eligible for a refund of tours, cancellation requests must be received 7 days prior to the tour. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- If Brock House needs to cancel a course/event/tour due to low attendance, a full refund will be provided.
