Back by popular demand! This is the same walk as the one offered in the Spring. Did you miss it? Here's your chance to join Nina again.
Some of the ornamental trees around Brock House were planted 111 years ago, and the native trees are considerably older than that. Learn about their history on a one-hour walk through the Brock House grounds led by Nina Shoroplova, tree expert and author of “Legacy of Trees: Purposeful Wandering in Vancouver's Stanley Park." Nina’s remarks will draw from Jo Pleshakov's book, "Thorley House to Brock House: From Family Home to Heritage Landmark, 1912-2012."
We will meet under the bigleaf maple tree across the front entrance at 9:50 am to begin the walk at 10 am.
