There are three FREE lectures on Zoom this week:
- Travel Series on Zoom - on Monday, June 1st from 10:30am to 12:00pm. "Singapore, Myanmar and Cambodia" with Jim Leggot. John Smith and a team of travel enthusiasts will be sharing picturesque presentations weekly, join them and experience the world from the comfort of your home. - Tuesday Lecture Series on Zoom - on Tuesday, June 2nd from 10:30-11:30am. “Beethoven: The Immortal Part 2” Angela Schneider, a performer with the VSO, and a popular destination history lecturer on luxury cruise ships. Beethoven's personality was as outsized as his talent. This is the second part of Beethoven by Angela from VSO. This is part 2 of Beethoven's life from the age of 34 to his death. - Salvation Army - ON ZOOM - on Thursday, June 4th from 11:00am - 12:00pm. "Stories from the Frontline - Serving during COVID-19" The Salvation Army invites Brock House members to join frontline workers from different local communities to give us insights on what it is like serving in the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis. Limit 40 - once you register, you will receive the meeting link, meeting ID and password.
