HW111 Qigong (Ch’I Kung)
Qi is energy. Gong is skill, or training. Qigong is the ancient Chinese practice of cultivating vital energy in the body, and moving it through the meridians. It is a gentle form of exercise that nurtures mindful awareness. There are many kinds of Qigong, involving breath work, movement, posture, sound, visualization, and meditation. Various forms are done sitting, standing lying down, or walking. Qigong reduces stress, increases mobility, improves health and develops concentration. Limit of 12.
